One of my fave Melissa songs! The whole song is incredible, but it doesn't get any more beautiful than at 2:22. From that point to the end just amazes me. It just builds and builds and makes for a total euphoric musical experience. I listen to that part over and over again and can't get enough!

Yes, this is the seventh album. I think it came out in 2001, or 2002. Mostly I like her music, but I like the lyrics to this one, too.

there are so many faces to melissa's songs: she can be strong or vulnerable; knowing or seeking knowledge; in pain or celebrating life; in charge or outta conrol; and in love or outta love. i love all these aspects of her, and it's really cool how you put up a montage of visuals that parallel and chart her long and illustrious career.
