Right you are, but unfortunately you're slightly wrong on one point. The Newsnight clip featured the ultra-EU-federalist Edward Macmillan Scott (spit), who is a Lib Dem MEP (although he he was voted into the EU Parliament as a Conservative). Thankfully he doesn't get to vote in the UK Parliament, and hopefully he won't have a job in the EU Parliament either before too long.
