Actually, I have been outside of Canada, I have lived in Myanmar, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the US and Mexico; I have visited the Mid-East countries of Egypt, Lebanon, and Tunisia, and was planning a trip to Israel and Palestine this spring before El-Al cancelled all visas from Canada. I grew up in a small city in the east coast which is made up of a large percentage of Palestinian refugees and their canadian born children, they are not allowed to return home, ever. Are they safer here?

I find the hatred in your region to be absurd, I grew up in a community in Eastern Canada where jews, christians, muslims and athiests exist peacefully. I believe the same can happen in the middle east, through time and work, not through this kind of mind-washing rhetoric that simply creates more hate.
