  • Too fast? Do you remember how the Musica Antiqua of Köln plays Bach? Why we have to be modest on organ?

  • @xavervarnus Indeed! Everything that is not 'usual' on organ seems to be wrong... Other instrumentalists can do everything they want, and everybody says it's great. The organworld is 'narrow viewed'...

These interpretations (and also the BWV 578) are very refreshing! Thanks for uploading.

  • @lipsbach Thank you.

Ah, yes. I heard of that.

  • Bach scholars today pretty much agree taht bach did not write these pieces. the style is too facile for bach.

  • @Totennebel

it is the d minor prelude bwv 554 which follows the c major in the set of "8 little preludes and fugues". unfortunately for us who played them, thinking we were playing bach, no bach scholarship today recognizes bach as the composer; rather (possibly) his pupil johann krebs.

  • What piece is the second one that he plays?

    Thanks.

  • Voltam már ebbe a templomban Kőbányán.

    Szépen szól az orgona.

  • je pense aussi que c'est joué trop vite !

MUSIQUE ne veut pas dire virtuosité...

  • You use the Karl Straube Editions?

Those are incredibly rare ones, I also have a few of them.
