Barry is a Bare eyed cockatoo. he was three years old when we got him. He is a pistol. I will be posting another vid of him taking a shower real soon.

Barry is gorgeous and so cute! I have never seen a bird shake his head like that in the rain. This is so amazing; I don't understand why you haven't gotten thousands of views. Perhaps you need more tags. Check out my videos of Geronimo. I hope you like them. What kind of parrot is this? Barry is so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

Barry's species depends on where you are. In America and Europe, he is called a 'Bare Eyed Cockatoo' Here in Australia, where they are native he would be called a 'Short Billed Corella'. They are huge clowns, and can often be seen hanging upside down from trees and power lines when it rains, often by one foot!! Aussie 'toos love a rain shower!

True about the Short Billed Corella. I am in Virginia. Most people around here have never seen a Bare Eye. He's a good boy.

Oh yeah, He loves to cuddle. So far no shower with the hose although he enjoyed the spray bottle. That video is now posted.
