Samsung H300 Camcorder Moonscape Video Sample

Here's some video I shot with my Samsung H300 camcorder at 1080p. I had the camera on the candlelight setting on my tripod. Best viewed on 1080p with full screen.

@Reallybigmonkey1 Use a tripod and I used a preset called candle light on my camera.. You may have to play with the exposure a little but it should work.. Have fun with it..

Beautiful shot. I was chasing that moon this weekend in an attempt to hammock hang in the ol' rope hammock but failed as everywhere I went was full. I guess everyone had the same idea. Again, rally nice shot of this harvest moon...Dash

@mooseyou2 The moon was moving in the frame. I like how the cloud went by then the camera focused on the moon and in HD it just pop's. Thanks for watching.

@Daddyezee Ok so the Americans have to be better than we Brits. Thanks for this information, I'll chase Samsung UK and complain that they are short changing us. Hopefully they will explain where I'm going wrong, or show me how to upgrade/update the software. I will be in the colonies (Arizona - Tucson to Grand Canyon) in March this year, so would like to have this problem solved by then.

@tmfarnham well you got the short end of the stick lol. it dose rec in 1080/60p after you finish recording it the renders it into a 1080/60p but this is the U.S model. European Models are diff from the U.S. I talk to samsung about this camera and what i told u is info from there mouth. i don't know why its that way but if you google it you see it says 1080p but records in 1080/60i then when recording is done its coverts itself to a 1080p.they said cuz its a full HD cam it has 1080p 1080i 720p

The camera records in either 1080/60i ot 1080/50i depending on your country setting. When you upload to YouTube, it's converted to progressive scan by YouTube. When set to 720 lines, it records in progressive scan. The camera is excellent, however I am having some problems converting 1080i 50fps (European standard) to 1080p 25fps. Most software packages loose the smoothness of the original. However, I'll not give up until I have a solution.

@tmfarnham i have to same cam it dose rec in 1080p but when you rec. it rec in 1080/60i but when exported or finish rec its now in 1080/60p
