I like Ike!

Not too sure why the strange pseudonym on this vid, cool tune though.

I went to see him play twice in a bar in Malibu, but he cancelled both at the last minute. No idea if he finally played that gig, I kinda gave up.

To get back to the music:

Who do you prefer when it comes to Rock&Roll: Berry or Turner?I prefer Berry. I like his guitar style better & Dixon&J.Johnson did a wonderful job on Bass&Piano.The sound engineers from Chess did a very good job,too.He wrote the better songs&sang them unlike Turner.

From the mid 60's on I would prefer Turner because CBerry was not able to update his sound.

I wonder if you can answer without using words like shit & fuck etc.You don't impress me with such blabla

I flew to Europe in a plane and sat right next to Ike - we talked about music the entire trip - he was a coke head and did stupid shit - doesn't stray from the fact that he wrote great tunes, played a mean Fender Mustang . Obviously you care a lot starting to get the focus on privat lifes of the musician (reading too much yellow press aren't you) or maybe you like only to use vulgary language anonymously in the internet:-)

Please open your eyes&even you will realize that about 90% of the 6 month old conversation was about musical similarities between Berry&Renrut (who turned out to be I.Turner)and the question who "ripped" off who.So next time think before you accuse me Mr. Schoolteacher

Aside from his personal life he was one of the founding Rock & Roll artists that brought us the good stuff to enjoy. Thats what matters. Back to the regular scheduled program.
