Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - Boss Rush Mode TAS

My first Nintendo DS production... the dual screens take some getting used to. If someone knows how to capture AVI's of one screen only, please send me a message.

This is a quick Tool-assisted boss rush of Dawn of Sorrow, abusing Dead Pirate and Devil to oneshot some of the bosses.

It can be improved by some, the biggest improvement would be to level up Malachi to level 9. Couldn't be arsed doing that, probably saves 5-10 frames at the most - I'm not quite sure how that soul scales. Also, I have never seen Aguni use a different opener - I did indeed try to manipulate him. Abaddon is invurnerable for a few frames during his attack animation.

I used Muramasa and Death's Scythe, Muramasa is ridiculously fast and Death's Scythe is ridiculously strong.

Anyways, I'm planning on doing an all-souls run for Dawn of Sorrow aswell, which will be pretty interesting, probably glitched this time around.

I'm more than 10 seconds behind this...

Great run overall, the fastest TAS I've seen by quite a bit, although I think it's possible to bring it under 1:10. Your Rahab and Aguni fights could be improved by using Bomb Armor/Death Scythe on Rahab, and throwing in a Abaddon on Aguni, saving some time on each. If you want to see what I mean, and don't mind sloppy human play, I have a 1:22.50 boss rush video posted.

Aguni always has that opener, and is invincible as soon as you enter the room.
