  • @cutdown23 this isn't a power-lifting competition, its about destroying the muscle tissue and rebuilding it....grasp that simple fact before giving a crap about strength. I guess the hack squat machine means your weak too? Try this, stop believe every article you read, learn for your self..

  • There is a difference between "muscle sculpting" and "strength conditioning", strength conditioning is a much simpler exercise; muscle sculpting is more of an art form. Jay is a champion at the art form

  • there is a periode when u are not able to use free weights esp in preparation u know the rules low carbo and low calories that affects the level of power and energy thats the reason why most of bodybuilders use machines . u should understand the bodybuilding first before speaking loll ......

    Like tall people usually are not very good squatters for this reason, their thigh bones are too long

  • @mbelma6329 That's true, I'm just saying that if people are doing the smith squat, should do it like Jay is doing them, feet right under the bar, not way out in front of the bar. Dorian Yates prefers doing smith squats over barbell. Don't ask me why, but that's what I read somewhere.

  • @bendix633 These guys didn't get huge lower bodies using the Smith. It took years and years of heavy, deep, free-wt back squats to do that.

    Smith machine squats are for beginners and those already famiar w/ reg squats who are adding auxiliary movements to their leg routine.
