@ESSENCEOFEACHTHING bowe was in a close fight with biggs for 8 rounds until he knocked him out .. hes next fight was with LENNOX LEWIS... lewis knocked him out in 3 rounds really easy ..if bowe was so great after he beat HOLYFIELD why would he throw a belt in a trashcan instead of fight LENNOX LEWIS ..cause he knew lewis would ko him... even back in 96.. he was asked about a fight again with lennox lewis he said no ... he wanted to fight either ..golota or tyson ...

I'm not sure if Bert Cooper was a credit.Or Tyrell Biggs for that matter. But these are opponents that had been in there with top fighters and had good experience.

@ESSENCEOFEACHTHING Bowe really never fought anybody anyway but HOLYFIELD ... he beat old michael dokes and jesse ferguson ...bums like herbie hide and jorge luis gonzalez ..who else??

Lewis is like Klitscho.He became a better fighter as time went on.In the early 90's Lewis was very limited.The fights that would have exposed his limitations at the time are Bowe,Holyfield & Tyson.By the time he fought Holyfield & Tyson they werent the same fighters.

@ESSENCEOFEACHTHING are you for real ?? Lewis Knocked out razor ruddock after he gave mike tyson 2 hard fights.... Bowe was always scared of lennox lewis .. even rock newman said bowe didnt really wanna fight lewis at anytime ...

Bowe would have beaten Lewis if they would have met in the pro ranks.At the time Bowe was a much better fighter than Lewis.Lewis didn't have many tools at all.This was way before he was trained by Emmanuel Stewart.Lewis got better as he got older.

But Bowe fought extremely well on the inside for a big man.He he would have stayed focused through out his career he would have went down in history as one of the best Heavy Weights in history.
