  • LOL. OMG.

  • "Hop and Go" was probably McCabe's best cartoon before he left the studio to go to war in 1943. Pinto Colvig was the voice of "Claude Hopper", with Mel Blanc as the lead "Scot" rabbit. Unexpected finish to boot!

  • @lubpenguin123 ....Hey, at least you make more sense than my penis.

  • Todo un clasico.

  • It wasn't until I looked at a number of 1943 Looney Tunes that I realized that they usually started with a larger center ring for the W-B shield and faded to a smaller one for Porky and Daffy. Here they use the same size throughout, making the shield hang over. Every other print I've seen leaves out the first few seconds.

  • Colvig left Disney in 1939 to join Max Fleischer's Florida studio {he was the voice of "Gabby" in "Gulliver's Travels" and his own brief series, and "Bluto" in few "Popeye" cartoons}. In late 1941, he returned to Hollywood, "freelancing" for Warner Bros. and MGM [and a few other studios] until he rejoined Disney around '48.

  • Pinto Colvig was also the voice of "Goofy" in the Walt Disney cartoons. He also did a few cartoons for M.G.M. See "Little Rural Riding Hood".

  • He's a collector maybe.
