This is really a lovely property. Does the steel frame make the house more susceptible to lightning?

No.  The steel framing is grounded and eliminates the build-up of an electrical charge that would attract lightning.

What a lovely house. Is that an undercounter refrigerator visible from the bedroom shot? Is that bamboo outside?

Yes, you do see an under counter refrigerator in the wet bar area in the entrance foyer. There is a sink in the counter top with ample storage above and below for wet bar supplies.

We have several species of bamboo including Nigra, Moso, Ventracosa, Vivax, and Azteca in addition to 10 other varieties that are in our landscape.
