    Haha, not sure what you're talking about either dude. He just said you should be able to deadlift more than you can bench. Not sure what that has to do with lower back being primary muscle in bench press? I'm pretty sure what he was saying is that your chest and arms isolated should not be as strong as your back and legs. If his deadlift is twice as strong as his bench, pretty sure he's not neglecting his back for chest.

    Even Powerlifters who use a superjacked Bench shirt (gear doesn't help deadlifts nearly as much as squats and bench) they're bench is rarely within 100lbs of their deadlift
