@wilk1979 It was tip 2D, but you can also do it with a 1M, it'll just look a little different.

@10fpatel thanks! :-) I used a Wilton 2D tip. It's a large tip that can be found at baking supply stores on found online.

What was your buttercream recipe?

8 oz by weight. unsweetened chocolate, chopped
6 cups confectioners' sugar
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
4-6 Tbs. milk, plus more, if needed
2 tsp. vanilla extract
melt chocolate cool to room temperature. Combine sugar and butter in a mixer or with a hand mixer at medium speed. Add vanilla extract and 4 tbsp milk. Then add the cooled chocolate and mix for several minutes until light and fluffy. If it's too runny, add more sugar. Too dry, add more milk. Beat for several mins
