Demonstration of the viability of electric weed whackers in locations not accessible to line voltage receptacles. Electric weed whackers are less likely to spark a brush fire in dry weather than gasoline powered units.
Note that the camera was wedged into an old tree stump to shoot this video, so it's tilted out of vertical somewhat. The musical accompaniment is Poison Ivy Rag (1908) by Herbert Ingraham, chosen to emphasize the ever present danger of encountering the toxic plant Poison Oak (in California) when employing weed whackers in open space areas...

I see from your YouTube page that you're a Canadian, so attending the annual West Coast Ragtime Festival in Sacramento, CA is probably not practical... I very much admire the ragtime of Canadians Mimi Blais and the late John Arpin. It's hard to make a comparison of our individual loves for ragtime, but I'm enamored of ragtime enough to attend the WCRF fairlly regularly! :-)
