An incredible journey into the very bowels of Charlottesville, Virginia—Join famed musician Heff Munson of Seventh Dawn, his sidekick Garbanzo Chickpea, and well-known artist Julia Kindred as they sip Revolutionary Soup, eat Christian's Pizza, and enjoy a bottle of "Gus." The voices of Ann Zeleny, also of the late-and-lamented Seventh Dawn (and also, for many years, a famous artist), Mark Wheatley (Insight Studios), Steve Ashby, and "The Unknown VCU Student" may be heard singing along with Heff on two impromptu romps: "Swiss Banjos" and "I'm From the Country and I've Always Had This Thing Against Foreigners." Listen for this classic moment during the closing credits. The whole shebang is dedicated to three fine folks, who missed out on the original Grace Street recording session in 1976: Carl, Fred, and Gwyn, who share more than a mystical connection to Ann Zeleny.... Heff may be seen fondling a sculpture by Boopie Respess' baby brother Jim.

  • Yep, originally shot in B&W at fake 24p, using a Canon HV30. Edited in FCP, reverse telecined via Compressor , buried in soft peat, dug up, converted to 30p, and thrown into the vacuum of cyberspace.....
