I've been playing Warhammer for 10 years now and this is the most inspiringly detailed painting video I've seen. Congratulations on a great video and thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!

Great tutorial. I'm new to the hobby and I've been putting off painting the orks in the Black Reach set, mainly focusing on my Space Marine army. But your video gave me the push I needed to started on the Orks. After the 1st few models I think I've reached a point where I won't be ashamed to show them on the table. I appreciate how you break down the steps on paper first. Gives a better understanding of the process instead of just trying to emulate what other tutorials show.

Great video. It makes it so much easier that you show how to do it on paper. So i actually have an idea what raised areas to look for.
Thanks muchly.

Sorry, had to make a second comment xP But damn your hand's steady. And your colours applies nicely on the surface! My hand's still waaay too shaky for detailing : / Even teeth and especially eyes are a pest!
Once agin, nice result :)
That was the best orc skin tutorial I have yet come across! I would have never thought to use a brown wash to bring the colors together. Have you ever considered a darker tone for the skin?

@Hunsiki Thanks so much. I find that once the devlan mud wash is applied, it darkens it down quite a bit. I have never tried anything darker as I find this dark enough :) Cheers and thanks for the comments

@eddybear209 Thanks so much. The brushes I have been using are actually Games workshop brushes :0 They are only about 4 bucks locally here and I have been quite happy with them! I have used Kolinsky series 7, GREAT BRUSHES but VERY expensive!

I never thought of painting on paper first. That's probably the smartest way to pick out a color scheme without messing up a model. Where did you print those? I'd like to start planning a color scheme for my Dark Eldar.
