This is the first draft of an animation I was playing around with in the style of Terry Gilliam (he did the animations for Monty Python). When I created this short clip, I had intended on doing some more work on it; but I got sidetracked on other things & never got back to it. I felt that I was somewhat limited in what I could actually do because I created it in Corel Photo-Paint, not exactly the best program for doing animation. This short project taught me a lot about animation, even if I didn't get to implement everything I learned. Maybe one day I'll get around to reworking it into a finished product. It's kinda rough, but any suggestions are welcome! : )

  • Well for the sake of the surreal Python humour, once the egg touched the ground, you could have it exploding like a bomb, whilst the two "gentlemen are chatting mundanely to each other (aboutr anything)

Or again whilst the two "gentlemen" are gassing away, say, about the daily Refuse Collection, and the egg touches the ground, It could hatch and out of it comes, a giant bloke with a hatchet in his hand and begins chopping the two men to bits whilst shouting "STOP TALKING RUBBISH!!!"

  • @BuddyFantastic Thanks for the comment! Those are great ideas, if only I had more time to work on this.

  • @pixygiggles My pleasure. Who knows, at some point you may be able to extend your stop motion animation projects in the future.

Keep at it, and all the very best of luck to you.

  • It's like something off Monty Python!

  • The comment about the frame rate is preposterous; cutout animation uses very low frame rates all the time.

However, if the best people can talk about is your frame rate, then you have worse problems.

    Keep at it. :)

  • It should probably be a higher frame rate 25 is the standard
