Shooting Aguila Minishells through the FN TPS (Winchester 1300 in drag.) The Aguila Minishells are a mix of 11 #1 and #4 buckshot in a 1 1/4" shell. (I'm a Man by Black Strobe playing in the background.)
I'm looking into buying a triple rail forearm for my FN tps, but they only advertise for mossberg, winchester and remington. does anyone here have any idea which i should use for my FN??
@natinegga513 Our FN's are really just Winchester 1300's with an "FN" logo added. Any forend that is advertised to work with a Winchester 1300 or 1200 *should* work with the TPS. My TPS has changed a bit since the video, I've added a MagPul AFG on a polymer ProMag forend. It works pretty well, you just have to tighten the nut on the forend quite a bit to reduce the side-to-side wiggle that's more noticeable if you have a vertical grip.
They make slugs too, but they are pretty small with hollow backs. Still gotta hurt though if somone doesn't take no for an answer.
Does anyone know how well these work in Mossberg 12g pumps? I've heard mixed reviews. Some said you have to pump it a certain amount back but not all the way, others say modifications required, some say none at all.
You'll hear all kinds of different stories. The one that I hear most is that you have to modify the gun.
I wouldn't expect these to work in any gun not based off the Winchester 1200/1300 action. The reason is because Aguila developed the shells for Mexican LEO's, who use them solely in guns of this type.
I know Boston specifically has limits on this shotgun due to magazine capacity, unsure about the rest of the state. Check with your local law enforcement and ask them what you can have. Or move to a free state.
