This is just a collection of shots I filmed around my home, and in San Francisco. I filmed this on the Canon HV20 with the SGPro Rev.3 lens adapter. The lenses used were: Nikon 35mm, Nikon 50mm, and the Vivitar 85mm. All editing and color grading was done in Final Cut Studio. Thank you for watching.

  • Do you mean the 35 f/2 and 50 f/1.8 Nikkor primes? I have those exact two. And I'm assuming you're talking about the Vivitar 85 f/1.4... I'm thinking about getting that one... it has gotten decent reviews among still photographers, but this is the first example I've seen of it paired with a 35mm adapter. Man, the internal focusing looks great. Much more cine-like than non-IF primes. I think I'm convinced to pick up this Vivitar lol... I gather you're using a follow focus? Which one?

    Good job!

  • Thanks for watching! The Nikon 50mm I used is actually an f/1.4. It's an older lens, but it is fantastic! The 35mm is just as good. As for the Vivitar? I can't stress enough about how good this lens is. VERY little breathing, if any at all. As for my follow focus? Just my trusty right hand. >;) Thanks again for watching!

  • What was the name of the song you used in this clip? It was very well done, and beautiful music, sets the mood of film.

  • Thanks a lot! The music I used is "The Mutant" from the Total Recall soundtrack. Thanks again for watching!

  • Your very welcome, now that makes me want to go get the soundtrack. (wink)

  • You should! Jerry Goldsmith did a good job on that one!
