The arts community on Mackinac Island is vibrant; painters and photographers find an endless array of subject matter with extremes in light and shadow to inspire. This clip visits the galleries of watercolor artist Richard Wolfgang, nature painter Maeve Croghan, oil paintings by Marlee Brown at Grand Hotel and the Mackinac Art Gallery of Pat Pulte at the Murray Hotel. Northern Michigan watercolor artist Kathleen Chaney Fritz is featured as artist in residence at Lilacs and Lace Gallery on Market Street. Next we see several types of carriages in the downtown area leading into a beautiful wedding at Grand Hotel.
And how much did this cost? Like a hundred thousand dollars.
