Around 1980, the cast of Guiding Light created this spoof of the show. Using current storylines and characters, they crafted these random scenes. Some are funnier than others, but it is neat to see some of the great characters back in the day.

I'm surprised they would parody the Holly/Roger rape that way, since they took the story so seriously. It's very interesting though.

Yes, this is definitely from the fall of 1979 (not 1980), that's when Roger went to France, in hiding, to get Renee (played by Deborah May) to try and get a full facial surgery (Renee wouldn't do so, though, suspectin Mr. Greene's motives).

Can't believe CBS let an actress on their soap (Marsha Clark - Hillary Bauer) write and produce a goof on their show like this! But so happy they did. Funny!!!

Clara was wrongly accused of killing her first husband who had planted illegal drugs on her (makes the spoof commercial funnier). Poor Roger was raped by the good French doctor! -:) Love, Floyd wiping his nose w/ his hand in the commercial for 'Adorn' before touching what I think is Lainie's hair! LOL!
