http://www.vegetarian-secrets.com People believe crazy things about vegetarians. Check out some of the top myths and find out what vegetarians are *really* like.
Mike Tyson and Albert Einstein are and were vegan. I'd dare any of you shit talkers to challenge them. I know Albert Einstein is dead but his brilliant mind and works are still here. Also Michael Clark Duncan the big guy from the movie ' the green mile ' he's a vegan he is no way skinny and frail. Tony Robins huge man (I've met personally) total vegan. Challenge him on anything. Think people before you judge someone on what they eat
You can gert all necessary nutrients from a no-meat diet, it just takes a bit of work (I've been doing it for a while, now)
It is, I agree, a bit easier with meat, but it is also easier to over-indulge on meat, and the way it is mainly prepared has a lot of saturated fat.
(sorry if the correction bit seemed a bit snobbish, I'm a bit of a grammar nazi, *stands at attention*, I didn't mean to come off judgementally, I was just explaining it, it is a commonly seen typo.)
my dad worked for a lady who was vegan, never eated meat, or fish and guess what, she is liike 90 years old and she's skinny, weak, due to the lack of meat and fish in her system.
@englandinacan a lot of non-meat foods contain sufficient amounts of protein. protein is quite easy to get. As for iron: iron from animal products is easier to absorb, but you can even have too much iron if you have too much iron from animal products because the rate that your body absorbs this kind of iron mostly remains the same, while the rate that plant-based iron is absorbed can easily go up or down, allowing you to get the right amount!
Protein may be more easily broken down when not meat, however the amount of veg you'd need to eat to replace the protein content of a steak would feed you for days. Same with iron.
Steak cooked as rare as possible is the most nutritious =D

@JilleyWillyNilly
sorry for bad spelling, i'm not american or british or australian ya know...
what i meant is that humans need meat and fish for their body, only vegetables and fruit is not healthy.

@jin54363
and you know, for an absolute fact, this is due to lack of meat?
I mean, most 90 year old women are small and weak... are you sure it isn't because of age?
Considering the fact that you're not close to this woman, I think you might just be assuming things.
Also, the porper past tense of "eat" is "ate", and "eated" isn't a word at all.
