This is a revised tutorial on how to make a 3d text with a reflection. The point is to have the reflection line up perfectly underneath including the depth of the image. Enjoy!

  • Will this work in Photoshop Elements 10?

  • @Angellafaye21

I don't know anything about Photoshop Elements 10 as I've never used it. But making the reflection in Photoshop isn't something you need super advanced software for. The difference will be if PSE has the layer mask feature for your layers. But there are many different ways to make a reflection. Good luck!

  • my photoshop doesnt have the bucket tool to make the backround black?

  • @ActionEditsHD

Sure you do, it's in your tools pallet. It might be visibly replaced by the gradient tool. Just click and hold the gradient tool, and a dropdown menu revealing the paint bucket (or fill) tool will appear, then select the bucket. You can also click F as a hot key, or if the gradient tool is currently active, click Shift+F and it'll toggle between the gradient and fill tool.

  • Thanks for this very informative and attractive.

A bit puzzling when you switched to Photo shop but if I keep studying it I hope to get there!

  • @peacewinz

Yeah it might require a few extra viewings. If you have any questions, please go ahead and ask.
