  • @21quandary "The staff who should be out on the store floor serving customers are out in the back room hunting for goods" If that is what he meant he worded it terribly.

  • @frankenstein04 He's not saying they're in the back stealing, he's talking about product availability, the staff are in the warehouses looking for stock they are unaware is unavailable rather than being on the sales floor helping customers. Please listen to whole sentences.

  • @Radeo 100% correct

  • @mymouses2 yo which one?

  • I work in one of the warehouses, and they don't treat the employees any better. You get written up for every little thing you do wrong. There's a lot of favortism and they call us a team. Nobody is happy there. Once upon a time this company cared about their employees... times change huh GAYlen and your stupid sweaters!

  • Sobeys >>>>> Loblaws

  • better than competitors not outsourcing any job

  • 6. Related to 5, the constant turnover of employees leaves work undone due to constant training. This means Loblaws needs to allocate more hours for people to complete that work. They won't do that however, which leads to FT employees unable to properly train new hires and all training being essentially "on-the job" which results in many mistakes and oversights by new hire --- and is also too demanding a task for a person who makes only minimum wage. This is why so many part time people quit.

  • 4. CAO tagging is obsolete. It causes unnecessary work and endless overstock..Orders should be automatically done/refreshed by computer as the database records sales.

    5. Loblaws has cut P.T wages to compensate, thereby punishing the people who are most motivated to work hard --- new employees. The low wage is the cause of Loblaws high turnover in produce, cash and night crew, it leads to astefulness. i.e., of time training new employees every 2nd week, instead of actually getting work done.
