  • You're welcome. I was surprised myself that everybody else that filmed this, including the guys with the helicopter and the Porsche ruined the sound. This was only done with a point-and-shoot. I wish I had filmed my ride in the inside as well.

  • (CONTINUES) - just as did rest of the cars that were known to be no longer legal for 1992). Also, Mazda used rotaries many seasons before the 787(B) but never showed any sign of dominance, yet misinformed people think success was the reason for the "banning".

And top of this, Mazda actually continued to the 1992 season with a rebadged Judd V8. The rule change was a failure, but for completely different reasons which resulted in the demise of the Championship in 1992.

  • @MrKeepitsideways Banned my ass. 1992 rule changes were set in the stone in 1990 (reminder: Mazda won _1991_) and the changes had nothing to do with rotaries (turbo engines would not be allowed anymore either, since the new engine spec required 3.5L NA engine). What's ironic about this conspiracy theory, is that, besides 91 Le Mans, the 787B never won another race in the World Sportscar Championship (contrary to these popular false beliefs, 787B did finish the 1991 season).

  • In my opinion this is the most beautiful and best car in the world... why are they not building this???? AAAAAAAAAAAaa

  • @MrKeepitsideways maybe they changed the rule because now there are plenty more engine platforms that can beat a rotery engine? just saying

  • Photo = GOOGLE IMAGE Video = YOUTUBE

    when people will understand it...

  • It says " lemans champ 2010?" in the video, but rotary engines were banned from the lemans series shortly after the 787b because no one can beat them.
