A SLAP IN THE FACE COLLISION OF SUPER-CHARGED CIRCUS AND HEART-PUMPING MUSIC

"This is not sterilized physical theatre, this is circus for the 21st century" ***** THREE WEEKS, UK

The future of Australian circus and hip-hop music exploded into action at the 2006-2007 Woodford Folk Festival. This fusion of breaks, beats, flips and awe inspiring physical spectacle sold-out at the 2007 Adelaide Fringe and has continued to amaze and delight audiences nationally and world wide.

Debuting internationally, the show carved its name onto the A-List of UK festival acts at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and finished off the year with a season at the prestigious Sydney Opera House. Tom Tom Crew returned to Adelaide 2008 for a further sell-out season, performed at the Hoopla Street Theatre Festival and revisited the UK for a month long season at the Brighton Fringe, where they picked up Star of the Festival and Argus Angel Awards.

Highlights of 2009 included the Rotorua Arts Festival (NZ), a regional South Australia tour, a 3 week tour of The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to 17 different venues, a debut US season at 42nd St's New Victory Theatre, a five week long season at London's Southbank Centre and a 21 sell out shows in a row during the Edinburgh Fringe! The year came to a close with a season back in Australia at the Judith Wright Centre (QLD).

2010 has seen the crew continue to pick up speed with a return season at the Sydney Opera House in January before their second European Tour which kicked off in March. This tour saw the group perform 38 shows in 9 weeks throughout the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany. Once arriving in Germany, Tom Tom Crew performed two major 4 week seasons; the first in Berlin at TIPI am Kanzerlamt followed by a season in Hamburg at Fliegenden Bauten. Most recently the boys have performed in Taipei for the Xinbei City International Arts Festival before setting their sights on the Tollwood Festival in Munich later this year. All in all, Tom Tom Crew aren't slowing down anytime soon!
