Chris Hope discusses the integrated assessment or the PAGE2002 model used in the Stern Review and its ability to assess the economic and non-economic damages of carbon dominance and that of other greenhouse gases. He also addresses the model's concomitant ability to suggest courses of action and effective policy formation. After elucidating the assumptions of the Stern Review and the effects thereof, Hope ends with an investigation of the social cost of carbon apprehended by way of the PAGE2002, but with assumptions that differ from those on which the Stern Review is predicated.
