  • Oh and I did mean each traps for I have had some traps living 3-4 months and close 10-15 times!

  • Not with mine, and plants like the Venus Flytrap are ruled my only their own health, and in my studies of of Venus Flytraps get only be limited by their habitats! If your Venus Flytraps are dieing after closing 4 or 5 times I'm sorry but never have been the case in ALL my years in growing them!

  • in the wild rain, and bugs and other things trick close traps all the time and it never kills the plants, or make them sick!

  • NO closing traps does not even harm the plant much less kill them, lol I have been growing thriving Venus Flytraps for over 50 YEARS, and NEVER had one ever die, get sick or even get upset about being closed!

  • I have well over 100 plants at any given time in EACH terrarium, not counting all the new little babies! I have four different crops of carnivorous plants for each of my five terrariums, soon to be SIX terrariums~! Crops mean plants like the, Venus Flytraps & other that need their dormancy, and I remove and replace with others waiting their turn to eat bugs, lol

  • The amount and kind of lighting being used is very much a big part of how much color your Venus Flytraps will show, and the age of each of the traps I have found to play apart it too!

  • @LonelyBlackWolf96 The trap will die, but the plant will not :). Traps of a VFT can close aprroximately 4 or 5 times, before dying off.
