  • I fucking hate politicians. Yea he's going to lecture us about healthcare. What about the public plans that Congress has?How about you get rid of those costly programs? Why don't you use that money we pay you for private insurance? But instead taxpayers are paying senators salaries and healthcare plans.

  • If you could keep more of this money in your pocket could you spend it better than them? Do you know better than they do what you need? Are you happy with someone else making your life decissions ? Do you need a mommy to take care of you?

  • Goverment run anything is not the answer.Take a good look at your pay check, add up all the taxes they take out, x 52 weeks, then add in personel property tax and the tax on everything you buy. Tell me this is fair !!! What are we getting for all this money? WHAT?

  • If you take the high premiums that people pay for healthcare and pay it in taxes how are you going to notice the difference, Ol Mitch was elected by the hair on his head and the state he is from has one of the highest unemployment percentages and some of the largest insurance companies reside there so why would he be for anything that would help people that elected him in office that would hurt his corporate donors and special interest

  • One problem with health care is that you need to belong to a group to get reasonable insurance rates. Individual rates aren't affordable. I wonder what would happen if the insurance companies ability to sell to groups was removed and one price open to all people was initiated. It seems like it would force true competition and open up availability to people that are self employed, work for small businessess, etc.

  • Fuck off...you had your chance and you have health care. Whats wrong with a little competition in the open market? What comes first? the companies that get you elected or your constituents health?

  • I am not sure but he needs to realize that he has 4 years and should be trying to fix the economy and not try to skip to the next job without finishing the last one. I feel it is a ploy for everyone can get their mind off the ailing economy and weak dollar.
