I honestly don't think this fight should have took place....Ali was not well by this time, fair play to Larry Holmes who could clearly see this and fought within himself to spare Ali further damage.....but Ali would have beaten Larry Holmes easily in his prime

@gjc82071 No one with a touch of boxing knowledge would say "Ali would have DESTROYED Larry Holmes". Ali would win, but he'd have been bothered by Holmes' size, skill, and awesome jab. Neither guy liked facing an opponent who could match their jab, so please don'act like Ali wouldhave destroyed Holmes with his great (sarcastic) left hooks to the body or punching power.

Holmes really held back, it looked like he could have knocked him out at any time. I think it would have been better for Ali to be knocked out early he might not have tried to come back again.
