Seems , that your ammo wasn't that effective ?

When I was young , I used to shoot rabbits with a slingshot using .44 caliber lead balls meant for cap'n'ball revolvers , ........guess that these would surely finish a pheasant as well ?

BTW , if you torch at rabbits at night , they'd most likely stay still as well , but best fun is , when you hit them running !
