Codercise Tech Demo

This is the Marcy Magnetic household hack that provides me with valuable productivity coupled with invaluable exercise.

To build one at home, buy $2 worth of wood screws, cut a wedged piece of wood to the desired angle, fit a panel and keyboard onto the wedge, then screw into place on to the Marcy Magnetic, hook up to your computer via USB extension cables, and off you go. Works well with projection and larger LCD panels.

I bought the Marcy Magnetic with site-to-store at Walmart.com. It's the recumbent bike that was reviewed as being "with a most comfortable seat". Since it had lots of good reviews, I bought it.

Cost of parts: approximately $200

Heh, I have a roughly similar setup, but it becomes quickly apparent that the chairs suck ass. I mean they hurt. They don't recline and they suck. I had to rip off a wheel from my chair, insert the recombinant bike front to the actually comfortable chair and thereby end up with something both exercising and comfortable. Sadly however the keyboard is really axed out to be put anywhere remotely useful.
