Here I am reviewing a case for an iPod nano or mp3 player of similar size/smaller that is waterproof and can be used when in the shower or when swiming in a pool or at the beach.

Product Features
Waterproof, sealable case for iPods and other MP3 players
Clear front panel allows you to fully operate your player while underwater
Armband and waterproof headphones included
Floats when dropped in water
Built-in external headphone jack

Technical Details

Compatibility: Most MP3 players
Click wheel access: YES
Click wheel access while underwaTer: YES
Seal: Double ziplock
Headphone Jack: Built-in, external
Floats: YES

Sorry about the bad quality, my camcorder for some reason went into low quality mode at 60fps at WVGA.

  • Is there one for the iPod Classic?

  • @FutureDJHero not sure about the ipod classic, it's quite big and wouldn't fit in the small container, ill research it and get back to you.

  • at first i thought this was stupid but after the vid, it does seem pretty smart, about going to the beach/pool and stuff nice vid dude

  • @1poptart36 Cheers, I think it's a great investment for holiday's, however, I don't really like to leave it in the water just in case there ever was to be a hole and ruin my ipod. However, if you have wet hands or something in the bath or shower, just leave your ipod on the side and leave it there instead of bathing in the water.

  • hahaha you couldnt put in the auxilary cable.

  • @jonmcfarlenbager Multi-tasking is very hard to do, talking, recording and plugging in auxilary cables, man-power is just not enough.

  • If you don't want the case, try Underwater Audio. They waterproof iPod shuffles from the inside. Less human error! You don't have to worry if you have it sealed right or if there is a hole in it. downside is you have to buy a new iPod (though I think they will waterproof one you send them...) Upside is there is a warranty and you get a new iPod!

  • @lewisthetechie the iswim fits the classic 5th, with a lil struggle. but its fully operational. tested at risk of the ipod.

  • MINT!

  • I should use this and play Mario's underwater theme when I swim! XD

  • what about head phones

  • i swoom

  • This would be good if I could swim and hold my breath long.

  • does it work with the 5g?

  • soo...i could go snorkleing at the beach and this would work???

  • will a ipod touch fit in?
