Anime is Japanese animation. This is animation from Japan, thus it is anime.

  • "And that was the first time anyone had been kicked or punched into the sky...Some say he still hasn't come down."

Sorry that incorrect, certain artists were inspired by Disney around the late 40's but "Anime" is a name given to all animation from Japan within certain boundaries

  • I dont understand why people sya this is not anim. Anime is name given to any form of animation made in Japan

  • I read somewhere that anime was inspired by Disney cartoons and was officially created by a Japanese Disney animator.
