The students from Delhi Technological University(formerly Delhi College of Engineering) have taken up the challenge of designing and fabricating an all-terrain vehicle for participation in the prestigious SAE Baja '10, which is held in several nations across the globe including India, USA, South Africa, Korea & Brazil , constituted under the banner of TEAM XTREME. The team has been the first of its kind not only for the institution but for the whole country.
Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) has been a premier institute for engineering and the undisputed leader in the mechanical & automotive engineering fields. The TEAM XTREME is one of its most successful and long running projects. Throughout the past six years, the team has been participating in the SAE International Mini Baja Event held at Pretoria, South Africa & in SAE India Baja Event for the past two years. The team faces the challenge of competing with the best brains and
matching up to the best technologies in the ever expanding competition. This project aims to take the student beyond the classroom and provides them invaluable technical knowledge in a realistic manner .
