What is the difference between an intellectual Conservative and an Intellectual Marxist? There is not much of a difference. They are both Materialist and both Historicist. Neither Reagan or Bush were conservative. They were supporting the wealthy class, using the disguise of conservativism.

One thing this author doesn't mention on Moyer's program, although I'm sure he is aware of, isn't what Reagan or Carter thought, but what their advisors told them to think, much as a speechwriter puts eloquent words in all their mouths.
Look behind the Oval Office desk chair, and see who has been in the shadows all along. Those entities haven't changed. And they are closest to the ear of presidents.
