http://Cosmology.com When Religion Masquerades as Science The Big Bang was first proposed by a high ranking Catholic Priest who wanted to make the Bible scientific. The Theory of the Big Bang is religion masquerading as science. Be it "nothingness" "pure energy" or all the mass of the universe bound in a totality of singularity, the foundations of the big bang theory completely collapse when we ask a single question: Why did it explode? Also: Why then and not before? From where did this pre-big bang energy/mass originate? Is not the mass of a universe compacted to the size of an atom still a universe? If all mass/energy existed before the big bang and we know not why it exploded, the theory has no basis and must be rejected.
The Big Bangers, however, resort to the same arguments offered for the existence of God. All big bangers start with the premise that the big bang is fact. It just is. And then go from there. The big bang was in fact proposed by a Catholic priest. The big bang is religion masquerading as science, its the story of Genesis masquerading as science. The big bang is a myth. The universe is eternal, ageless, and has no beginning and no end.
The purpose of this video is to topple and shatter the idols worshipped by those who use the language of science to promote a religious myth, i.e. that the universe had a beginning and was created.
The hypothesis of a big bang does not promote science, but instead hinders true scientists from exploring other possibilities and advancing our knowledge and understanding of the true nature of the cosmos.
There was no big bang. The big bang is a faith-based myth: religion masquerading as science.
The Universe Is Infinite & Eternal: The Little Bangs, by Rhawn Joseph, Ph.D.
A Note on Dr. Joseph & The Controversy Generated by this Video:
Dr. Joseph is six feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has a Ph.D. from The Chicago Medical School. His internship is from VAMC and Yale. In the 1970s he discovered and/or proved neuroplasticity in the primate brain, the hormonal basis of sex differences, the role of early environmental influences on learning and memory, all published in prestigious scientific journals. This was the beginning of his career. He has been invited to speak at University of Geneva, University of California at Berkeley, etc., and his scholarly papers have been reprinted by major universities including Harvard.
He has no religious affiliation and is not a religious person. Dr. Joseph does not believe the "lord god" described in the Bible created the universe. This video does not promote or offer "religion" or "intelligent design" as an alternative to the theory of the "big bang." Rather, this video details how and why the "big bang" theory is not supported by scientific evidence, but instead is "religion masquerading as science."
