Lovin' Spoonful were far more than just a pop group that's for sure. Wow. Listen to the musicianship in this great little song. Sebastian, when he disbanded the Lovin' Spoonful should have regrouped as a band called Spoonful and continued to record tracks like this. We know he was friends with people like The Doors (it's his harmonica on the "Morrison Hotel" LP) and Jerry Garcia. This is excellent.

This is one of those tunes distictively Spoonful- you can just picture Zal and Sebastian at their heydey - and I love that jingle jangle guitar riff.....

Great for a pop song...of course it has nothing to do with Lightin' Hopkins...J.B.Sebastian was wonderful!
