there is no use debating religion with intelligent people and certainly not stupid people.

they cling to whatever evidence they can conjure to support their religion. These people are in desperate need of comfort. That is why it would be insensitive for anyone to attack someone's religious "belief" as they would a political one. I understand that it has to be done by people like the ones in the video (they are scholars, academics interested in the truth) but they don't understand why many people remain religious. religion is irrational and everyone most intelligent people know it!...

This is the only area where I disagree with Richard Dawkins. I am an atheist and i can see exactly why religion is a taboo and shouldn't be criticised as coldly as ,say, someone's political views or football team. People are scared of what comes after death. They comfort themselves with whatever bullshit, irrational theory they can find so they can sleep at night. More often than not i would say intelligent, religious people know there religion is probably false...

William lane craig already tooled Denett and Hitchens in a debate. Its a just a matter of time before Craig puts the other two clowns in their proper place.
