Me playing one of my favorite guitar licks, the intro on "Rockin' Me"[*w/ a backing track drums and bass I found online somewhere] by The Steve Miller Band. Fly Like an Eagle Fender Stratocaster Marshall JCM2000 DSL401 Amp Clean Channel Bill Lawrence 290S pickups GHS Boomers Rosewood BK Butler Tube Driver Boss RV-3 Reverb
sounds pretty perfect, haha.
ok, i only have an electric, but when you go into the faster part after the power chords, is it 9h11(a),9 (d string) or do you have to hit them as a chord? because i dunno if thats just how it sounds with reverb.

Here's the deal:
1) STUDIO VERSION:
The guitar on the recorded version is a LOT more complex than what I'm playing. I'm doing a sort of simplified, hybrid version of it.
LIVE VERSION:
Steve does a very stripped down version of the studio track, but he plays it double time:
-------------9-------------9-- --- D
--9-H11-------9-H11--------- A
------------------------------ ----- E
If you want the tab for how exactly how I'm playing it, send me a message and I'll tab it out for you!

Stop sliding after every note.

No, he does slide the B pwr chord down on 1st beat of the measure. The part I played incorrectly was picking the B chrd on the 1st and 2nd quarter note, instead of just the 1st and letting it ring out on the slide down.
