One of Japan's film studios called Shin Toho was short lived. However, they produced many low budget exploitation films during late 40s to early 60s. This is one of Shin Toho's horror flicks, directed by an ateure, Nobuo Nakagawa. The DVD issued in Japan has English subtitles.
Would this qualify as a "kaiju eiga?" Literally, that just means "monster movie", but at least here in the US, when that term is used, we usually mean giant rubber monsters attacking mini cities (Godzilla, Rodan, Gammera, etc.)
