  • Thanks for that. Got it sorted. It was the gas valve.

  • @mustafalarf how can it be low pressure? This boiler does not have a low water pressure switch, it doesnt ignite so couldnt overheat. You aint got a clue. If sparking takes place, the fault lies on the gas side. Check for gas standing and working pressure, then the coils on the gas valve to determine weather its the gas valve or a fault from the meter. This boiler did no sound like it sparked so it seems like a board fault

  • Mine done the same! Turned out to be the pcb! Got one from eBay. Worked for me no probs, £120 for the board too.

  • hi mate

they may have charged you for a gas valve, and replaced it but uit was not your problem.

the problems seems to be no pressure in the system and no pressure means the thing won't ignite, at the beginning of this video you can see the pressure guage is almost at nothing, so the boiler wont work, standard.

  • gas valves fucked its sparking but no gas..or pcb

  • air pressure switch is faulty, or the gas solenoid.

  • having a worcester is the first problem. there reliable but expensive & hard to work on. parts & manifacturor are expensive as well.

fan is noisy but sufficient to put pcb into ignition so id say gas valve check voltage & supply pressure.

85 percent sure just from hearing it that its a gas valve fault or out of gas.

  • @simbacub Hi

I have ths same problem, how did you fix yours? thanks AJ

  • dasd
