@mariasheridan85 If you train the irish to be well with other dogs, it may work out. Irish Terriers are known for not doing too well with other dogs. For instance, when our irish was going through his teenage years, he got into some fights at the dog park... o_o If you have any trouble with them playing together, I would talk to a dog trainer. (We had to do that too.) :D

how are they with smaller dogs, i have a mini schnauzer who is fine with other dogs, he loves to play, if i got an irish terrier as a pup would they do well together?
