In my opinion this was the best thing we ever did on TV, the band was really tight after 3 months on the road, and the filming and sound of the French TV studio was great. They got us to set up with Ricky (drums) facing the rest of the band, so lots of creative camera shots. Filmed on Feb 11th 1983 in Paris. The show was called L'Echo Des Bananes. 3 songs were played, True Love, Tossin'n'Turnin, and Perdido/Caravan medley.
I love this video, i watch it all the time although i was a kid when the Stargazers were in their prime. Its only now i have learnt of them and their awesomeness! I really like the simplicity of this video, credit to the camera-man. He captures the band so well, for example at about the 1.00 mark... the shot where you can see the drummer over the singers shoulder. Sometimes less really is more!

Unreal, always loved the slower version but there is no way you can top this. Great stuff.

My band used to cover this song and used to end the song like this coincidentally. The original version fades out.
