  • This actually looks like a good Mario clone. Its pretty obvious that's what they were aiming for, and they did a good job.

It looks like its worth the twenty dollars they're asking for. Would you recommend it? And does anybody know if it works with the 3DS? I know the 3DS has a region lock and the game was released in the US (though its release is rather limited), I just want to make sure. I guess its because the limited release kinda scares me to the point of asking this.

  • @Daluigi208 I'd recommend it yeah, but I'm sadly not sure if it works with the 3DS.

  • Whoa, this has more effort put in it than NSMB.

  • Pretty darn great platformer :D

  • @Daluigi208 all DS games work on the 3DS.

  • German Mario Bros

  • Wow - I used to play this on the C64 and the Amiga - Can't believe they've updated this game for th DS - I'm pretty sure Nintendo sued the original publisher because of the blatant similarities to Super Mario Bros...

  • I find it hilarious that they would revive such a blatant Mario rip-off. The updated music isn't bad!

  • This game IS released in limited quantities in the US. The best place to order this title is NewEgg.

Anyway, I own this game and have played through the entirety. It's a fantastic title and one of the best platformers on the system.

  • Jeeeeeeeeezus.... I can vaguely remember getting this on the Commodore waaay back in the day when the Fam was in Germany.

No-one would ever believe me that I'd played a "Mario Sisters" game back then.

  • @Omgarrett Also all DS systems that are older than the DSi aren't region locked, so if you have one of those you can still import it without too much trouble.

  • This game is totally not a rip off of Mario...
