Rahul asks Tripura to throw away Left Front in 2013.

Udaipur (South Tripura). Nov. 10: Setting tune for the next Assembly elections in Tripura, Youth Congress icon Rahul Gandhi on Thursday alleged that the Left Front government was not working for the common people and it should be ousted from the power in 2013 polls.
In the manifesto, the CPM had promised of uplifting socio-economic condition of poor people but now it doesn't read the poll promises, he said while addressing a rally at KBI Ground in South Tripura district.
"The government which has been in power for the past 19 years must go in the 2013 Assembly elections and the Congress would provide a government which will work for the betterment of the weaker section of the society", he said.
Gandhi said that it was the Congress which has always been giving top priority on interest of poor people while formulating any scheme. "The objective of national flagship programmes like MGNREGA and Forest Dwellers' Right Act is to uplift the socio-economic condition of poor and tribal people", he said.
