A new advertising campaign that aims to motivate smokers to quit has been launched. The innovative campaign highlights the fact that smoking doesn't just cause health problems for smokers in the future, it also worries their loved ones today. The adverts ask real kids, not actors, a simple question. If you could give your parents a message about stopping smoking, what would it be?.
Whilst stopping can be tough, family is the best possible reason to quit, and the NHS Stop Smoking Services provide brilliant, free support to make quitting easier.
In October, positive messages supporting smokers who are making a quit attempt will be introduced - using the same real kids whose parents are trying to quit. The campaign includes TV, press, radio, outdoor, face to face recruitment and online advertising, and will run until mid-October.
