The man from the Diplomats, Moody Blues and Wings does his own thing (and does it very well) in the hippie year of 1967.

  • His records are as rare as gold.

  • So much better than Colin Blunstone`s version. Those high notes at the end...! Bliss.

  • @debroglie24 Are you tone deaf ? As Much as I Admire Denny..to say that this is better than Colin Blundstone's version leaves me and many musicians speechless

  • @debroglie24 beg to differ, many prefer Colins version, but to be sure, THIS man wrote it and thus deserves credit for that:)

  • @79goldmaster1 yeah, this does sound a lot like George. remember the song..."ring out the old and ring in the new"? similiar.

  • Got me this single once.. turned it to grey then.. still a great song and version. Love Denny's voice...

  • kind of sounds like George Harrison....slotted in Wings perfectly

  • Excellent

  • Not a bad version, but alongside Colin Blunstone's taut spare interpretation it just sounds overproduced. Sometimes, less is more .....

  • Denny Laine is in my ears and in my eyes.....

Not as good as Colin Bluntstones version...ok though.
