a crt monitor like logon from tigerdirect would say "get out of your cave dude". i also use a crt! their good becuase they dont have a responce time but the con it the contrast ratio. so i'll stick with my crt till i have to change it becuase im not big on minitors im more of a overclocker and case moder.

lol FINALLY someone who agrees with me on crt's jeeze. haha thats awesome man. most people don't agree with me when i say 60fps on a crt looks alot smoother than 60fps on a LCD because thier response times just are not fast enough yet. and the color is just so much richer on a crt as well.

but ya im more of a case modder/overclocker as well. keepin my case nice and tidy and running as cool as possible.

im personally geting the 9800gtx in tri sli and water cooliong them cuz i found a nice water cooling ebayer that just sells watercooling all copper and custom made. the guy use to work for thermaltake. im probably going to get the 780i with the new 45nm quads.

nice dude. i built mine about 8 months ago, so im using the 680i with a q6600. eventually ill drop a ton on two video cards and a nice monitor. I'm still using a 19" Viewsonic FlatTube CRT so 1280x1024 is what i run my games at. so i don't need a ton of power until i get a nice monitor.

the EVGA 8800 GTS g92 512MB. but i love the sound in this game. peoples footsteps are so loud lol. i mostly play on the server called "Mother Fucking Rampage"

i've heard really good things about this video card. 128 stream processors. probably the best performance you can get without getting a GTX or Ultra

no sound isn't that important in fear if but i will give u the benafite of the doubt. what video card g92 core or the rv series

yeah there wasn't too many players in the server at the time of playing and i didn't have my speakers hooked up, playing that game with no sound is like trying to find someone in the dark. this game has amazing sound. im in the process of getting a new video card so ill throw up another video when i get things back up and running.
